Mozambique Fashion Week Breast Cancer Awareness - Wonder Woman

Here’s something kinda cool and kinda hot – At the Mozambique Fashion Week this year (an annual fashion and cultural event hosted by African nation’s capital city of Maputo) breast cancer awareness and prevention was promoted via images of Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Storm, and She-Hulk giving themselves examinations with a caption that read:

Nobody’s immune to breast cancer. When we talk about breast cancer, there’s no women or superwomen. Everybody has to do the self-examination monthly. Fight with us against the enemy and, when in doubt, talk with your doctor.

That’s definitely a unique way to get your message across but I can’t help but be turned on by the images. I’m sure that wasn’t their intent but rest assured I will be rubbing one out to this ad campaign as soon as I get some alone time.

Those of you that grew up in the 80s might remember the Saturday morning cartoon Rainbow Brite – It featured some sort of impish girl riding a unicorn across a rainbow presumably to fight a pathetic antagonist thought up by a group of 40 year old dudes in suits. Awkward Porn: Some people shouldn't be photographed...ever

I do not subscribe to the belief that all people are beautiful in their own way. I think there are hot people and there are ugly people and I should not be made to look at ugly people. Take this lady for example – she should never (and I really mean never ever in a million fucking years) be in front of a camera in any state of dress or undress. The fact that the webmaster thought she was acceptable for the website is appalling. BTW is it just me or does she look like Jabba The Hutt?
